What does a typical session look like?
Our approach is multifaceted, we combine counselling, resilience, coaching and mentoring theories and strategies. Initially, we will explore the issue at hand, your thoughts and feelings about it, and then what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. Next, we explore your existing internal and external resources (your strengths, skills, coping mechanisms, environment and support network) and identify any areas for improvement. Collaboratively, we will create a plan to resolve the issue and process your thoughts and feelings, while improving and adding tools, strategies, and coping mechanisms to your mental toolbox.
What type of things do you help people with?
We offer counselling and coaching to adults and adolescents from all walks of life. We have extensive experience in working with stress, depression, anxiety and self-esteem issues caused by difficult life experiences or changes and self- limiting thoughts and beliefs. We assist with processing thoughts, feelings and emotions, resolving trauma and increasing resilience and positive mindset so you can face life challenges and reach your full potential. We also offer specialised coaching and mentoring for neuro diverse people to help identify and leverage unique strengths, understand emotional and sensory needs and learn how to apply environmental adjustments at home, work or school to support progress and growth.
